How do you define homeschooling?
Homeschooling is an approach in which parents choose to educate their children at home instead of sending them to a traditional school. This approach began growing in the 1970s, when John Holt, Dorothy Moore, and Raymond Moore started writing about reforms in educational structure.
Homeschooling provides an atmosphere where parents can provide personalized method of instruction that matches the child's unique abilities, learning styles, and interests. As Ken Robinson puts it "the key to [educational] transformation is not to standardize education, but to personalize it, to build achievement on discovering the individual talents of each child, to put students in an environment where they want to learn and where they can naturally discover their true passions."
